DIRECTOR OF SURVEYING
PLS
John Wade has over 15 years combined field and office experience, and is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Oregon. As the Director of Surveying at LDC, he takes part in preparing marketing strategies, business plans and administrative activities for the Survey group in LDC's Hillsboro office in Oregon.
Mr. Wade also directs business development, project execution, financial performance analysis and labor utilization. He is responsible for profitability in accordance with business plans, developing new business, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, managing projects and clients in accordance with business plans and managing administrative activities within the survey group, including performance evaluations and employee development.
On selected projects Mr. Wade assumes the role of project manager. As a project surveyor, a significant portion of his time is spent coordinating with public agencies and outside consultants, project tracking and client consultation. He is proficient in the use of many state-of-the-art mapping tools including digital GIS data, aerial and digital orthophotos, AutoCAD / Softdesk Civil mapping software.
Mr. Wade has experience in boundary resolution, A.L.T.A. survey mapping, topographic survey preparation, property line adjustment surveys, foundation location surveys, legal description writing, subdivision plat mapping and construction staking calculations.
