Mr. Barrett has over 35 years experience in the public works arena having served 6 years as City Engineer for Springfield, Oregon and 19 years of as Director of Public Works and County Surveyor for Sutter County, California. Parati California and its clients benefit from the keen public agency perspective he applies to the development of small and large scale projects.

A strong knowledge in land development applications, permit and plan processing, engineering design and management for land development projects, roadways, utility infrastructure, public buildings and treatment plant projects, are just a few of the strengths possessed by Mr. Barrett. He graduated in Civil Engineering and holds a Bachelor's of Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in California and Oregon, a Registered Traffic Engineer in California, and is authorized to practice Land Surveying in California.
