DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ENGINEEERING

David Monson, PE, Deputy Director of Engineering, has over 27 years of accumulated experience in the business of planning, financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of municipal facilities in Oregon.

This experience has included most aspects of budget preparation and administration, personnel management, project planning, design, management, and operations of municipal facilities. Mr. Monson has 19 years of experience as a City Engineer.

During that time he was responsible for the management, technical development, implementation of systems development charges, capital improvement programs, and capital maintenance programs.

In addition, he provided public works management, including budgeting and operations of a potable water treatment plant and distribution system, sewage treatment plant and collection system, parks maintenance, and engineering.
